Period is now a week late and NO positive tests!? :(

My AF is now a week late as of today. It was due the 15th of this month and is very regular its never over a day late. I haven't had any signs of AF. Just occasional back pain, random dizziness, and now getting sore boobs. All I know is with my DD I didnt take a HPT until two weeks late with a FRER and it was a BFP. I called my OB and they said I need to wait an extra 2 weeks then call them for a blood test, i dont understand why so long? We've been TTC after losing our DD, so this is driving me crazy   I took a FRER this morning it was negative only thing i saw was a whitesh line (2nd line) when i held the strip up to the light (out of the casing).

Try traking a digital the other one don't work for me. I had the same problem there was either no line or the line was so faint that I thought it was neg. GL Hope you do get a positive

Which digitals work best? And when you took a digital it gave you a yes? How late were you? Lol sorry for all the questions.

It was a clear blue digital it had 3 in there and it also said 3 or 5 days early I can't remeber but it will either say positive or negative. I was using the ept ones and kept getting a neg. I believe it was 1 day after missed period. I am now 33wks preg.

Ok I'll have to try that one. I just can't believe I've gotten negatives everyday for a week...

I did too. They are kinda pricey though but worth it. Also remeber when you test with a died test make sure it's pink. I'm not sure if you were or not. Good luck and keep me posted if you don't mind. Happy Thanksgiving

i would go see your PCP and get a test done i got tested at 4 days of missing my period and it came back i was 4 weeks preggers the homes tests kept saying i wasnt preggers so i went to my PCP and had a test done and i was never late on my period always on time.

What kind of test are you referring to? And I already contacted my primary gyno and their refusing to do any testing for an additional two weeks. A blood test to be exact.

I have heard that when you yest to get pink dyed ones because thay are more acurate. Just go get a clear blue digital and it should work if not your going to have to wait until they check your levels. Some people can't use tests because they don'y pick up their levels for some reason.

I took a clear blue yesterday and today with FMU both BFN  Yesterday I had a very very faint positive when I held it to the light with a cheapie. But because I have so many negatives I don't believe that positive... I think it's my mind playing tricks.

the ept test was the one that kept telling me i wasnt.

Ugh..I have heard the ept is know for false negatives.. So many people on this site have mentioned it. I also took the ept ones and they didn't work. I will never test with one again.

i got my positive on a clear blue digital test too and i wasn't due for my period for about 3 days.
