No Thanksgiving for this mama ):

My dad would have been the one driving me and he's convinced I'd go into labor in the backseat of the Cutlass, so me and SO are gonna eat freezer meals and play video games today.

Sucks that my family is an hour and a half away, but now there's room in the car for my brother, SIL, nephew and niece. Hopefully they have fun. :3

What are your plans for this lovely turkey day?

No real plans. Just me, DH, and DD. I am making a ham though

That was the plan. It may not be extravagant or anything, but it'll be quality time together, and our first Thanksgiving together.

I hope LO is travel ready by Christmas, though. That's one get together I don't want to miss.

Eating at home with SO's family   My plan was to go to my friend's parents house with her and SO but she now has to work. And I can't get a ride to go 20 miles away to spend it with my dad. I'm upset and don't like being in this house anyways so spending my favorite holiday here is not my first choice.

Why would he think you would go into labor a month early? Christmas is when I would be worried since you're due 5 days before then.

Having Thanksgiving at SO's family's house. I would rather go with my dad to my aunt's.. but we spent Thanksgiving with my family last year.. so it's here this time. Oh well, the plus is a nice meal.

Don't feel bad - it's only the three of us this year, too. My closest family is over 500 miles away. Feeling a little homesick, but it's better than being alone. Can you guys Skype or something later on?
