I used to work in a warehouse, and we didn't get either day off, although sometimes they'd start shifts sooner or later to try to accomodate peoples' celebrations. The only day we had off was Christmas.
Maybe for people working for the government or rich people. For the rest of the country no. Because there is mass hysteria of the stupid consumerism day we refer to as black Friday. All of the retail workers are working. Some even work today.
