We just had a lil chit chat about just letting it happen and having sex more often with no pressure, glad I got on here this morning and that I showed him this, I am now sure he realizes how important this is to me I don't want to really steal sperm haha

I want to make a baby the right way. I have been with him forever now and I think its time glad we have this plan and hope we can move onto full TTC but I think it will just happen probably soon hahaha.

Can I just tell you, I had a baby at 18 and stayed with the father but if I had my life to do over again, the only thing I'd change is having more time just the two of us. I would have LOVED to be married before kids, just enjoy my husband.

I know I won't change your mind because I'm certain that you are fully capable of being an excellent mother, but just consider that you have years and years to have a baby, but you can't go back. Once it's here, it's here for smurfing ever.

doesnt need to be but they are married independant i guess so age has nothing to do with it ... he should have been honest about his fears of being a father

they are married as a married woman I would be devestated at any age if i married someone who told me one thing just to soon change his mind and it was this important

I don't think age has to do with it, exactly. I had my first at 18 but I left BD... but SO and I moved fast in everything we did, we've been together since October '11 and got pregnant in May. Granted, we thought TTC would take a lot longer than our first try, but we wish we had more time to ourselves, as well, and we're 22 & 24.

I only mentioned the age because it's the same as the OPs, just trying to relate to her. Really I don't agree with anyone under the age of 25 TTC their first, nothing to do with their capabilities but I would have loved to enjoy my 20's on my own, and TTC at like 27-28.

But once you have one, you're life is pretty much smurfed anyway, lol so after that as long as you can care for them I see no reason not to keep having them.

After all these years I know having a baby is the best option for use, just glad that crying this morning and expressing myself got the damn point across to my thick headed husband.

Yeah, I get what you mean. I'm so scared to be starting over, LO is 4 so we could do a lot with him, vacations and stuff, and SO still wants to go on them with the baby, but it would have been so much easier and more fun to be able to go on rides and whatnot with the three of us together, not one of us goes with LO while the other chills with the baby.

It's a huge step OP and even though you may feel you need a child right now, you have plenty of time. I think you and your husband SHOULD have more alone time and experience more as a couple instead of adding kids right away.
