Luteal Phase and Due Date Cal.

Okay so I am just trying to get my ducks in a row and have some questions.

Last cycle my luteal phase was like 8 days? Not very long at all. No clue what my cycle length on average is (mirena was removed 10.11)

Okay so I got a POS OPK yesterday, we did the deed. Out of curiosity how would I calculate my due date? If they go by your last period I would already be like 4wks (according to doctors) ?!?! I mean naturally I would got by my O date but still that's confusing to think about lol.

I can help you if you don't mind sharing your LMP and Yes! your LP is very short- as in a LP defect category!!

There are due date calculators based on LPs. They're easy to find by googling.

Sorry if this seems rude, but do you normally have such a short LP? Wouldn't an 8 day luteal phase be too short to conceive?

Yes I would love some help. We aren't actively TTC, we're more in that phase if it happens it happens. I am tracking though because when we do try we want to make sure I am as "normal" as I can be.

LMP was Nov. 1st. I got a positive OPK 11/21 this cycle and 10/24 last cycle. Nov 1st was my first period since having DS 9mo ago.

No not at all rude   I just might be looking for the wrong phrase? I tried but this is only my second cycle since mirena came out.

Mirena is a slow release hormone I.U.D. so the short luteal phase might just be due to your body trying to regulate itself after loosing the mirena. Also most due date calculators run on a 28 day cycle and they assume that you ovulate on day 14 after the start of your cycle and you ovulated on day 20 so if you add 6 days to the Estimated Due Date EDD that BG gives you yo'll have your new EDD.

Well what is also as important as the Lp phase is how many days are in your cycles. Track that as well! However No matter how many days are in your cycle the LP phase is the one the counts most..I think it needs to be at least 10 days to sustain a pregnancy!

Based on the info you shared w/ me if you conceived this cycle your EDD would be around Aug 7th! Mine would be the 9th..lol

When I do by conception its the 14th... that's so confusing lol.

I track my cycle length too with my app. LP was the part I really wanted to figure out
