what happens if...

I have some medical issues going on. I need to be thinking about my kids and get some things straight. Right now, as is.. my son belongs to my husband so of course he stays with him if anything happens. but my daughter isnt his. and there is no name on her birth cert. just mine. ..so what happens there? like IF something happened? my husband is all she knows. and I wouldnt ever want her away from her brother...

id assume shed go to next of kin... ur husband can fight for her! make it official girl so she will be with him and her bro

My friends mother was with another man who wasn't her father but the father of her brother.
When her mother died she stayed with him.

didn't you just say in a different post that he wants to adopt her? If you're worried about this let him so she won't end up with her bio father that has nothing to do with her.

Make out a will and I'm assuming the father isnt involved. Make your DH her legal guardian if something were to happen to you
