POS fathers...

gotta love them.
My daughters real dad. held her... like 2 times. shes 3... she turned 3 yesterday. shes only ever seen him 2 times. and hes never bought her a thing. never a card. didnt even call her yesterday. even tho SO claims her and wants to adopt her. ...it still hurts. I dont know why but it does.
hes engaged and she has a daughter the SAME age as my daughter and he takes pics with her and posted it to facebook with a thing saying if you have a daughter your love to the depths of heaven bla bla bla... really??
hes never done a thing for our daughter. he dont pay child support because I filed in hawaii and since he lived in ohio they dropped the case and said they had no jurisdiction. ok...
then I moved to PA and filed and ...its been over a year and still heard nothing back. never heard anything, its actually been 2 years. not even a phone call back about it.
I left voicemails. nothing.
he didnt sign the Birth cert.
there is NO name. just mine.
SO wants to just adopt.

I understand how u feel but why not have so adopt? If he loves her and wants to be her father i say go for it

then go for it girl! if SO is the one that loves her and wants to be there then u have to trust him especially if he wants to be her dad

I say let him adopt her. if he loves her. if there is no father listed then no one to chase down to sign off on rights. and technically you can't get him to pay child support if he's name is not on the BC. not without a DNA test anyway. least that's how it is here.
