Are you supposed to defrost ham?

I............. have never cooked a ham before.  

But I'm going to say yes to defrost.

ive never froze ham so im not sure.. but i would assume you need to defrost it so its not overcooked on the outside and cold in the middle

Ham can be cooked without thawing first. You will need to increase the cooking time when starting with frozen meat. Larger cuts, such as roasts, will require up to 1 ½ times the cooking time of an unfrozen cut.

Like a spiral ham? for thanksgiving? id assume so. any hams I've bought said not to freeze..hm.

I dont think your supposed to cook ham frozen. I'd defrost it

It should be defrosted first or it won't cook right.
