I get that it's in the 60s outside but it's over 80 in my apartment. I don't care that you don't think it's an emergency cuz it's 60 outside. But we don't have screens so I can't open the doors or windows. Just come freaking fix it so it'll be fixed for tomorrow.

My AC is out too, and it's over 80 in here. The maintenance men won't fix it right away because it's not considered "emergency"... I have a 3 year old and a 4 month old.

You cant like open the window a crack and put a fan blowing out where it is open? Bugs wouldn't be able to get in then if that is what you are worried about. Or do you not have those type of windows? or do you have a fan over your stove to suck it out?

I only have a two year old. But luckily I called back and made a bigger fuss and they call the maintenance supervisor (who is really nice to me and my son and my husband) and he just showed up. He says it's overheated (it's an old unit) so he's gonna fiddle with it. So we'll see.

The maintenance men here get written up if they do anything without an order. My garbage disposal broke, and when they came to fix it, I told the guy about a drawer that kept falling through, and he told me I had to put in another order. The guys are super nice, but the office/management sucks.
One guy came by when he was off, and fixed one of my steps (a concrete one that had fallen though and was broken for over 4 months, despite our constant complaints) He got fired... he wasn't even on the clock.
It's horrible here.

Oh wow. That SUCKS! We're looking for a bigger apartment and it sucks cuz I like the maintenance people. They're super helpful!
