Every pregnancy is really different.

Just wanted to try and post something good for a change
With my first (boy) I was 145 pounds pregnancy, only 20. I gained an extreme amount of weight & by 38 weeks was a whopping 220. I had extreme swelling in my hands, feet and face.
by week 28 my blood pressure began to rise. My 36 week appt bp was getting too dangerously high. Made it to 38 weeks and my ob decided it was no longer safe to carry to term so I had to be induced which was a long scary proccess.
Almost 3 years later I am 35 weeks pregnant still over weight I am 213 lbs and 5"8. But I have gained a total of 6 lbs, and my blood pressure has been amazing! And knock on wood no swelling At all. This baby is a girl!

I forgot one thing too. When I was pregnant with ds I found out I had mild dysplasia (pre cancerous cells) had to have it monitored every appt and then every 2 months after ds was born. At my first appt with my ob they confirmed they disappeared on their own.
