I went with Margaret, only because it's relatively uncommon today compared to Amelia, and there are cute nicknames you can use with it.

I think they are both nice, but I am partial to Amelia as my daughter has the French version for her name- Amelie  . She is an Amelie Manon.

Yeah, I didn't like the "yah" sound at the end, it sounds harsh. I've loved the name Amelie since I heard it in the movie.

I like the name Margaret more, but Amelia Margaret flows better than Margaret Amelia.
