My son has awesome hair, too - and I tried just using the trimmer with the guard on it and take an inch or so off.....

He ended up looking like a cancer patient by the time I was done. I fully admit now that I am NOT a hairdresser. >_M

Yeah I called to see when they were coming to get me and she was all "OH, we already did it." I cried and my SIL got all mad. I was like, seriously?

My SIL took my twins for their first haircut while I was at school(college). That was 14 years ago and I STILL haven't gotten over it!

That makes me feel less bad.   This was like, a month ago and not his first haircut. The worst part is that he cried the whole time and begged them not to cut it. She was smurfing laughing telling me this (please don't quote this btw.) UGH. Not happy. Now he always says he needs a hat because his head is cold.
