Ear infection question..

DS is now on his 4th medication to try and get rid of this ear infection. His pedi said this is the last thing before having to go see her "friends" I assume this means ENT, who else would it be? lol But, can they do anything a pedi can't do. Or when you get sent there can you count on surgery?

Sometimes I had a lot of ear infections as a child I ended up getting tubes and adenoids removed it all depends but they will be able to look for underlying issues or other things a pedi is not specifically trained in. I wouldn't worry. Just a question does anyone smoke in your home?

No, he isn't around anyone who smokes. I just hope to avoid surgery

We had problems cause our dad smoked but hopefully they can find out and your little one can avoid surgery good luck
