The pill being sold OTC???

A friend of mine on FB said she just heard on the news that they may start selling birth control pills over the counter. Anyone else hear about this?

I guess some doctors are saying they should be but the article I just read said that process could take years. They would have to do studies to prove its safety and get it approved by the FDA.

A group of doctors got together and said they should be sold over the counter its just a recommendation.

Yeah, there is definitely pros and cons to doing it.
