How was it when you were induced???

I am going to be induced Tuesday and really nervous....This will be my 3rd child.....They scraped me yesterday and nothing happened

I was induced with my 3rd. It was really smooth. They inserted the cervadil and had me hooked up to the IV & monitors by 7:30pm. I took an Ambien at midnight because I was so excited/anxious to meet our daughter. Then woke up in major pain at 3:30am. She was born an hour and a half later [vaginal, au natural]!

I was 37 weeks and I probably wasn't ready, but I had Pre E so it ended up being a pretty traumatic experience for me. I hear if your body is ready that it's much easier.

They broke my water first and then started me on oxytocin. When I first started feeling contractions it just felt like a really bad period, and I have periods to the point of im puking because my cramps hurt so bad. They had me walk around for 15 minutes and by the time I got back to the room the contractions were so bad that I couldnt talk and I was shaking and feeling sick. So they checked and I was far enough for an epidural. They gave me an epidural and in 2 hours I was fully dialeted and ready to go. I dont know how labor feels like without being induced but it was pretty intense for me and I remember thinking I cant do this for hours on end. I didnt feel strong enough for it. Once the epidural came though, then I was like ok maybe I can do this

I was induced with my son, I'd say if they're going to offer you pinto in just tell them to break your water, the pita in really didn't do much, as soon as my water was broke it was game on! But it wasn't anything traumatic, just an iv and regular birth!

Mine was not so good sorry to say I started Clavel(sp?) on the first day for 12 hrs and then when the nurse came int to rremove it I was only 1 cm dialated i was then given another 12 hr dose which only made me contract hard but no progress   after being in labor for 24 hrs they then started piotcin (sp?) that really got things going contractions was coming every 2 mins after being in labor and in pain I got the emp. for pain but that slowed things and also made my sons heart rate drop, after they took me off the emp. and up the piotcin after 2 days of labor at 12 I stll was only 3 cm so the doctor said he would give me 2 more hrs if then would c-section was going to happend when he came in tho check me at 1:30 by the grace of god I was 10 cm and my lil man was born but I hated it but eveny one is different just hoping I dont have to be induce with this one
