re: Celexa?

Ahh ok. What have you all tried so far?? I know the xanax but have you been on any other medication for depression? Xanax doesnt MANAGE you anxiety it just takes the anxiety away at that moment if you know what I mean. Hard to explain. I've been on xaanax for yrs and Its kinda like a band aid. Getting on a antidepressant along with your xanax would be your best bet. I've noticed a big difference now that im on a antidepressant and the xanax.

An antidepressant that helps with anxiety helps like Lexapro or a medication that helps curb anxiety is Buspar. It takes 2 weeks to work but it works awesome. Xanax isn't exactly treating anxiety it is taking it away in the moment

!! :-) Lexapro wasnt too bad. It just made me not desire sex what so ever...

I was on celexa and loved it except for the weight gain. My dr switched me to zoloft since she said that is a better anti depresent if you have gained weight on other ones. I would have stayed on it if i wouldnt have gained weight.
