I've really gotta get it together.

So, prior to this relationship, i was a super-affectionate, all over you/all the time type in relationships. Cute smurf all the time, etc etc.

Well, this relationship (that will most likely be my final in life) is completely different.
We've known each other 4-5 years, been together, have kids, etc etc. Separated for almost 2 years, blah blah.

Anyways, i need sex as much as possible just to function, but it's not like i'm super passionate (in an emotional way, plenty passionate physically   ) But like, as far as just, being close, it's like i forgot how to do that.

The other day leaving a visit from my mom she hollered after me to "start acting like i have a boyfriend"   Moms.  

But the cherry on top of it all? Trying to verify our account info today over the phone--- and i didn't know his birthday -_-

I guessed like 5 times,
turns out, didn't even have the year right.

I've gotta get more connected to this dude.

Sit him down and ask him all of those questions.

oh wow that's crazy you dont even know his bday, lol the only way i can remember DH's is by the 7 eleven store cause he was born 7/11/89. But i know his Social Security number by heart and his favorite color as well as a lot of other things. Maybe try to spend more alone time with him like go on more romantic dates and ask questions

See, my birthday is 9/11 so it's hard to forget too. His is like, March 26th, just some random date, i suck at birthday's to begin with though  
I know his favorite food at least, and like...favorite movies, haha.
we do need more one on one time though, we've had one night, in our whole relationship that's been child-less.

You don't need to be lovey dovey all of the time but that is crazy that you don't know his birthday! lol. Do you mean you just didn't know the year? Or you don't know he date? He never celebrated his birthday with you? You don't know how old he is? lol.

I guess first things first, just sit down with him and do a "get to know each other" thing again? How long have you been back together?

Oh and is check his Facebook for his birthday LOL I'd be pretty hurt if my SO came up to me and was like "hey when was your birthday again?"

haha that's why i didn't ask him for it, but then he called me out on it when he went to verify the account info later today, oops.
and he doesn't have a FB otherwise i would've!
for some reason i thought the year '81, but it's '80 but yeah, haha, i was guessing early march dates (at least i knew the month!   )

we've only been back together just short of 6 months ish, but yeah, i think we've only had one time in all this time where we were together for one of his birthday's

haha i knowww   my parents offer to babysit all the time (cos they think we need more time alone too) but i'm such a dork, like, i hate being away from the kids and feel like i'm not really having a good time if they aren't there

Maybe try doing something very adult oriented - it doesn't have to take a super long time, but maybe doing something that's definitely adults -only would take your mind off the kids for just a little bit.

I always want to take my son with me, too - don't worry. Even if SO offers to watch him if I want to go shopping or something, I always end up taking him.

And yes, ugh, haha, before it was cos i'd be gone all day so never wanted a moment away from the kids, but even now as a SAHM i'm the same.

It would probably be easier if he didn't suck.
