No, her father doesn't "spank" (god I hate that word lol) her, or even smack her, because well, he knows I'd smack him.

He would grow her for treating me like that, yes, yes he would.

No, but we don't spank or threaten to, either. My three year old has hit me, DH gave him time out, told him to apologize and just explained to him that he is not to hit.

I don't see the logic in hitting your LO in attempts to teach them to not hit....

But my 4 year old would never do that. She has been raised well and knows that this would be unacceptable behavior.

We actually use little pom poms, but we have a mason jar that she and I decorated with a letter K on it for her name. When she gets it filled to the line with her "good jobs" she gets to go pick out a little prize at the store (happens like once every two-ish weeks.) If she is disobeying, we can take them away as needed.
