shortness of breath

Hi,
I have been having mild shortness of breath on and off since I had my daughter 15 months ago. I would notice it the most if I was reading the baby a story, or explaining something to somebody. I just chalked it up to being over tired and out of shape, but for the past few days it's gotten worse and my chest feels a little on the tight side (plus my lungs are burning as if I just went for an epic run).
I made a Dr's appt. for tomorrow morning, but I was just wondering if anybody else has experienced this?

i experienced something very similar to this. But I also had the symptom of high blood pressure. I had fluid around my heart and lungs leftover from pregnancy and birth. But unless you have high blood pressure this would be very unlikely for you.

Hmm.. no, my blood pressure has always been fairly normal if not a little on the lower side.

Well then its definitely not what my issue was then....My blood pressure was through the roof....good luck tomorrow!

It def can. I'm going through it right now... It sucks  

I'm wondering if that's what it might be then... When I had my blood tested in the hospital after my baby was born they told me I was severely anemic and to take iron pills. I still take them from time to time and eat meat almost everyday, but maybe it isn't enough
