posted 21st Nov
Did you find out the sex of your baby?
If you didnt how did you go buying things for the baby?

Any of you unable to find out because bubs wasnt in the right position ect?

I want to find out the sex of our baby..but at the same time I dont.
And wont be telling ANYONE if we find out anyway.

my main reason for finding out would really just be to see if i should sell DS's old clothes or not, i saved ALL of them and he is almost in size 2.

Have your doctor write the gender on a paper and put it in a folder? Decide from there? I found out. But if you decide not to, just get neutral colored clothes. They even make some that's reversible and have both pink and blue sides.

My second LO we waited till birth to find out.

I kept all my first son's things in case it was a boy, and if it was a girl we had money saved to buy clothes after baby was born. Besides that we bought gender neutral things.

It was a boy though.

If i have another I want gender to be a surprise.

I've also wondered who people go about buying stuff, there is only so much gender neutral stuff in stores because most people know beforehand nowadays.

I found out asap and will do the same with any other children. Me and my SO don't get the whole idea of the wait and be surprised thing. We like to be ready when baby comes. Plus I would hate having to have all yellows and greens and what not.

My husband and I choose not to find out the gender my due date is Saturday we just bought everything gender neutral it was a little hard for a few things but at my showers I found people bought some girl and boy outfits and gave a gift receipt so I could return the item that is for the wrong gender although its a little harder to find gender neutral nothing will take the moment away when they say its a -------! It will be worth the wait

Although it sounds neat to wait till birth I'm not sure I could wait.

I have about 20 or so gender neutral outfits at the moment!
All whites, greys, reds, greens ect they are all so cute.
Id probably only really need them at first anyway and i know there are quite a few things of my sons that were gender neutral as well.
I already have a bed set which is white, red and black and it is GORGEOUS.
Its not too hard but my DH wants to find out so he can go buy "heaps of pink stuff" if its a girl.
lol.

We didnt find out with either kid. We just bought a few badic things. We had a cradle, a neutral carseat, some blankets and a few sleepers. The we either bought or recieved everything else after baby was born.

We also didnt have a shower, we had a "meet the baby" party so all of our relatives bought them things and got to hold and cuddle them.

It was so fun not to know and made the delivery pretty special. But I got to go to the ultrasound where we found out my neice was a girl and that was pretty special too!

So you won't even tell me even though when I went to my ultrasound you were practically abusing me for not telling you when I told you as soon as I walked out. Nice. We most likely won't be using the baby name we chose but that's not to hide it from you. I wasn't going to tell anyone the sex but you were going to crack the smurfs if I didn't tell you so I don't think that's very fair.

Youll notice, despite what you may think, that the world doesnt revolve around you. We are FIGHTING what do you not get about that? Why do you think you can post on all my stuff and send me casual gossip.

If we dont find out the sex obviously noone would know what it was anyway!
