Holiday TREATS!! (and a Q) -PICS-

posted 21st Nov
So, we've been making holiday treats since the start of October

Glad that tomorrow is thanksgiving so now everyone else is in holiday treat mode around us

So today my friend and our kids made (For tomorrow) :

Mini kiss pies
Mint chocolate dipped Ritz (Sooo good, taste like thin mints.)
We ran out of mint chocolate so we used regular chocolate and pulverized some candy canes

And then a couple of the kiddos

Okay, my Q: a good way to keep the ritz yummy for tomorrow? Fridge? Covered and on the counter? thoughts? i just don't want the chocolate getting melty or anything.

i thought it might sweat in the fridge, but didn't know if it'd get melty on the counter.

Did you use bakers chocolate or just candy bars? If you used candy bars you'd have to keep them refrigerated. If its bakers chocolate keep it out. The bakers chocolate will be okay to touch when left out and if refrigerated they will be melty when you touch them.

Those can go either way. I'd probably refrigerate them in that case, they probably have a higher cream percentage and will melt easier. So to be safe, fridge.

Let them set up then cover them tightly so the moisture doesn't get to them.
