re: If your daughter (holidays)

We actually have always celebrated our thanksgiving on saturdays after, our fam *aunts uncles* all went to their in laws on thurs and then we had another dinner on sat for every1... my mom was widowed so she didn't have inlaws to visit... 20 something years later she still does it like this...

If that were to happen, and I celebrated on thurs, I would plan my thanksgiving that weekend, so my daughter, and her bf could come, and his parents if they were that serious...

Depends on how long they'd been together, as to how I'd feel. I might be a little sad, but either way, I'd deal with it, since she'd be an adult.
