No you have to have sauce for pizza. That's why when they ask you what topping you want it is like pepperoni or sausage or whatever goes on the cheese.

Ehhhh I'm torn on this one. I don't think it is but with all the new pizzas today and the different sauces you can get, it would almost have to be considered a topping now....

no, sauce would not be a topping.

The toppings are anything you put on a pizza past the cheese. You can't really have a pizza with no sauce and no cheese.
