They could have started rising after the test was done.

I called and talked to my nurse, she said it was just the yes no one, you have to ask if you want the number one. She is going to check with the lab to see if they have the numbers or can still run it otherwise we're just going to wait to see if I'm late. Question though, say it is negative, should I be worried with how sick I've been lately? I've just had that horrible nausea (very specifically like how it was with my first two) and bad twinging and cramping on only one side, not like period cramps though. Is it possible for your hormones to be just really high one month and cause those symptoms?

Human error how? I mean.... your blood sample is either used on a kit test (same kind of test you do at home), or ran on a chemistry analyzer to measure the hormone level. Unless they ran someone's else blood sample, instead of yours, there isn't much room for error.

Are you sure it's not just a stomach bug?

That's what my intial thinking was, but it just really feels different. Sort of hungover like mixed with a little dizziness/lightheaded, just like when I was pregnant. But with two kids in the house, I'm bound to catch new bugs. My last option is waiting - which I am NOT very good at with this one!

I understand.   It's hard to wait when you really feel pregnant and just need to know - right now!!

With my first, I was so "whatever happens happens" I didn't even take a test until I was 1.5 weeks late, with my second I took a test 3 days early just because my symptoms were so obvious. Now with my third I keep over planning and I don't know how to calm myself down!

LOL, no advice for that. Once the baby fever hits, it's hard to think about much else.

there's no need for rudeness i was just simply stating that i had a negative with blood and then few days later positive with urine! i always thought blood would tell you before urine did.

Sorry, I didn't mean to come across rudely. I work as a medical lab technician, so I'm pretty familiar with how samples are handled. And no, a blood test won't necessarily tell you sooner - it's just typically preferred in a clinical setting because the hormone can become diluted (and non-detectable) with your urine.
