There were never any Palestinian people, they came from Jordan and Syria AFTER Israel was created.

You are saying that Israel stole land from the Palestinian people, right?

Who "lived there first" can be debated for days without a clear winner.

The Romans were upset with the Jewish nation and wanted to erase Israel/Judah from the face of the earth. The Romans saw in history that there were extinct people the "philistines" who once were living near that area and were enemies of Israelites so according to Latin spelling the romans invented the new name Palestina. A name which would remind Jews of their old foes. The land was taken from them and eventually Israel got their land back.
