re: smoking while pregnant.

that is one reason I quit too, I think its worse then stress honestly. But thats just me.

neither is smoking. There are many many risks that come with it.
same as cold turkey. I quit the day I saw 2 lines on my test.

Very true I don't smoke so I didn't have to make that decision

You're lucky, I wish I never started, thankfully I didn't pick the habit up, and I have been smoke free for almost 4 years.

I don't think I'm better than anyone or anything and I don't judge

Of course quitting cold turkey can be done. I smoked for 8 weeks of this pregnancy and without cutting down just gave up. Yeah, I was stressed but the stress I went through wasn't half as dangerous as the chemicals I was feeding to my baby. I'm also not saying I'm better than anyone but I would like to give you positive advice and say you can do it   just think about your little baby! If there is any reason good enough to quit then it's now.

Yea just cut back until you quit that's what I'm doing I have been only having one a day and I hear it's more harm then good to quit cold Turkey

^ this...my doc said to cut back a little at a time...ive been able to get down to 5 cigs a day...cant seem to get past there though :/
