His eviction notice has been signed!

My induction is officially scheduled for 6:30 on Monday morning!! AHHH!!!!  

But I'm 95% sure he swept my membranes today. For anyone that has had this done, what did it feel like? I went from closed to 2cm since Friday. The check today was by far the most painful check I've ever had. And he made a point to stress that if I have ANY contractions, to call and he'll have me come in.

They swept my membranes and it freaking hurt like a son of a bitch. Then my water started leaking and baby was delivered within 48 hours of the membrane sweep!

It hurt like he was scrapping my insides with a knife  I was crampy shortly there after i had mine swept on a Wednesday and had my son 2 days later. Good luck hope you dont have to have the induction

I could feel his fingers go WAY up into my cervix. And it hurt sooo bad.

A membrane sweep is hard to explain, mine it was like a sharp ring. I don't know if that makes sense or not.

Thanks. It felt like a really rough exam, and I could feel him put his fingers way up in there. But he didn't say he did anything.. so maybe he didn't. IDK.

The NP swept when I was at 4cm [convinced I would have the baby later that night], I spent the rest of the day contracting...she wasn't born for another 4 days, when my water broke! LOL STUBBORN.

It was really painful and uncomfortable. But, both times i've had it done, my kids came within 24-48 hours. Good luck!

One way or another, he'll be here in the next 6 days! It'd be nice if he would hold off until after tomorrow. Haha. So I'm definitely cool with it taking awhile, if it does anything at all.

Did they tell you they did a sweep? My doctor didn't say anything, but seemed convinced that I would be seeing him this weekend instead of Monday. So I just assume with the way he was talking, and how rough/painful the check was, that's what he did.

I asked them to do a sweep. All i can say is it felt like my insides were being scraped and i squirmed, yelled, and teared up. I was already dilated though and one was done two days before my due date and the other was done on my due date. I believe my body was just ready because it worked for me both times.

Yay first off so happy you get to have baby here very soon! And it does sound like you got your membranes swept. It hurt me too but I knew the doc was doing it because he knew I wanted baby to come on HSR own. Ended up getting like 3 more don. This were done without anyone asking but helped me lose mucus plug and dialate a little lol. Hope you have a great labor and delivery ;)
