Quoting Just Ames:" Oh? I think I'd be more bummed and worried about my Son vs how he came into this world. I hope everything goes OK with him."
Quoting {{Expecting #3}}:" Well that's why we're doing the c-section, because it's what's best for him. It's DEF not what I wanted to do though "
Quoting .Colleen.:" You're not concerned about the CPC and your son? Just the birth? wow"
Quoting Just Ames:" Oh OK because it seemed your main focus of this post was being thrown off your birth experience."
Quoting Lizplustwo:" Actually, CPCs are generally harmless and usually resolve themselves prior to birth. But way to make her out to be a bad mother because she's disappointed about having to change her birthing plan."
Quoting Lizplustwo:" Actually, CPCs are generally harmless and usually resolve themselves prior to birth. But way to make her out to be a bad mother because she's disappointed about having to change her birthing plan."It's ok...people just read the tone of the message incorrectly. I AM totally 100% bummed about having to go thru another c-section but my youngest daughter actually did have to have brain surgery to remove a cyst when she was one year old so we're PLANNING on worst case scenario and taking all the proper precautions so everyone is safe during delivery.
Quoting {{Expecting #3}}:" I had a very traumatic emergency c-section with my last pregnancy (story link can be found on my page ... [snip!] ... to be safe we would forget the VBAC. Don't wana take the chance of the cyst still being there and rupturing or something."
Quoting {{Expecting #3}}:" I am sad that I will not be able to go through labor and delivery like my body was designed for. I was ... [snip!] ... would be in the best interest of our son to plan a c-section so there is no extra pressure/stress on his head. I am soo bummed."I'm so sorry to hear this. I know it sucks when you have to change your birth plan, but i'm glad to hear you are doing what's best for your baby instead of risking it anyways. I wanted to do a VBA2C this time, but my doc is not for it. She said with my two hernia surgeries, and 2 c-sections, she didn't want us risking it. Sorry to hear about the CPC, but hopefully it will clear up on it's own. I hope everything turns out well for you and baby!!
Quoting .Colleen.:" yea, thats totally what I said. The way the post was worded, yes it was concern for the birth not the child that was in the OP. Just found it strange"You don't have to come right out and say something for it to be implied. Also, you weren't the only one I was referring to. If you took the time to actually research what she was talking about, you would understand her seeming lack of concern for the child. When, like she said, she's opting for a C-section even though it's not what she wanted in order to minimize the risks to her child.
