bad mom?

posted 21st Nov
DD is 4 months and super cranky because of teething. I just got home from shopping with her and shes still sleeping in her car seat... im next to her, catching up on my Weeds, is it bad that she stays in there? I know once i take her out she will wake up. she seems so peaceful but i feel like a bad mom.

Hell no

Why would that make you a bad mom?

My son used to sleep in his carseat ALL the time. If they are asleep when they come out of the car, there really isn't a reason they can;t sleep there until they wake up. My son liked it because he had a little bit of reflux and the more upright position helped him be more comfortable.

I have sat in the car outside my house cause I didn't want to wake DD. You aren't doing anything wrong.

That's silly. Nothing about that makes you a bad mom. She is clearly comfortable, happy, and safe. And you are just hanging with her. Sounds like a win win to me!

Heck no, I always let my DD's sleep in their seats instead of waking them up.
