re: last names, adoption, custody.

He would have to willingly give them up. And it sounds like he's not going to do that.

Yeah I have heard of cases here where one parent just didn't return the children from their weekend visitation or whatever...in one case, the father hid the kids from the mother and wouldn't tell her where they were...and it took the custodial parent months to get them back because the police wouldn't enforce the custody order.

That's so sad though

It's sad, really. I can't see her unless he okays it. Which is never. So I'm sitting here wondering where my rights are. Meanwhile, I'm paying that jobless bastard 300 a month for childsupport. It's not fair at all.

I just dont get why parents do that. Hell my ex husband cheated on me. with my friends LOL..A lot of women will use that against their babis father not me!! My daughter is 11 and still doesnt know why we got a divorce. We have split custody, and if anyone ..I mean anyone ever told her "daddy cheated on mommy or daddy doesnt love cause he cheated on mommy..mommy will hunt you down and kick your ass!!! To many parents want to hurt the other parent and not caring about their childrens feelings. Wonder why so mnay kids are smurfed up now days!! ughh..I am sorry mama she will know one day how much her mom loves her!

Truth. And I have the same plan as you. I'm not going to tell her anything that went on in our relationship. But if she's old enough, and she comes to me and asks, I will tell. A lot of people have told me to lie my way threw this situation. I almost slapped them when they suggested it. I'm playing this the right way that way all I have is the truth to give. And thanks momma. I often have dreams of her and in the dreams, I'm telling her that there was never a single day that I didn't think about her. And she gives me a hug, and tell me it's okay. :') I guess it's my mind trying to ease my worries.
