Just what I suspected. Clinton is an economic demi god. I see it all the time on this site.

Likeable is really all there is to it. That makes a lot of difference in how people treat you. Most people would crucify richard nixon for doing something wrong, but invite old bill down to dinner after he smurfed their wife :-P.
