back labor?

posted 21st Nov
I have no clue if im having back spasms or back labor. Ive only had 2 in 30-40mins but it feels like a really bad back cramp and kind of throbs but nothing on my tummy gets tight. The two ive had r very painful too. If uve had back labor can u clue me in as to what it feels like? Thanks ladies.
Ps
I am keeping track of how many an hour cause im not term yet i just am wondering if its spasms or labor in my back.

At this stage it could be solely due to being heavily pregnant (the back pain) and nothing to do with contractions. It's really hard to tell but our backs take a huge hit being pregnant. Drink lots of water and sit against a heating pad to see if that helps. Also, you can try tylenol too.

i had back labor. it started with a dull ache in my lower back, which was strange because my back never hurt the entire pregnancy. eventually, there was a clear rhythm to the pain and i was able to start timing them.

I didn't have any signs of back labor until I was in full blown labor at 9cm. Of course I know each pregnancy is different, but hopefully in your case its not!

They took my breath away...ive had 3 now but im laying on my side and im getting some achiness but not near the pain. Achiness goes from my back to my sides and maybe arlund the front but LO likes to push out so it could be him up front. I took a lortab the doc gave but nothing really timeable right now. But if those were back contractions, holy crap! Also my lady part r achy now. Not the normal baby head down aches either so im paying attention. LO needs atleast 2 more weeks to bake!

I had back labor and it was the most painful experience of my life. It only lasted til I got to the hospital and had my c section but it pretty much feels like a contraction in your tummy but isolated and wrapping around your whole back all the way to the front if that makes any sense. Mine started out once an hour until I realized I was in labor got to 2 minutes apart.
