It seems totally normal to me. You have to remember that a lot of UK is way more accepting of breastfeeding than the US, so this is the norm. The last time we were in Ireland DH's Aunt was breastfeeding and we would be walking down the street with her while she was nursing and if someone wanted to see the cute baby they would come right up to her with no hesitation. It's different over there.

There is more than that picture, they all look pretty sweet. Seems like they purposely chose this photo to suit their article.

It looks very awkward because DUH, boobs. Made for viewing pleasure, not for feeding, and especially not in front of somone classy like Hugh.

I think it is awesome that he took the picture with her and didn't seem to feel awkward himself.

I don't find it Awkward. However, if it were me I would have unlatched my son and pulled up my shirt before taking a photo. More power to her.
