Smurfing Mighty Mouse

posted 21st Nov
The homemade mouse trap did well to lure Mighty Mouse (that's what we're callin' this sneaky bastard now) in but apparently he's really good at balancing himself just right. You could see tooth marks in the residual peanut butter smears but there was no smurfing mouse.

Seriously...I think kryptonite might be this little bugger's only weakness

Take a tootsie roll and rip a little piece of and then squish it on the mouse trap. They can't get it off and we have gotten like 5 or 6 mice on the same little piece of tootsie roll! We have a field right behind our house so when they cut it down the mice get in and peanut butter wasnt working so SO did the tootsie roll and it works really good!

This little guy looooves peanut butter, he's just proven to be really hard to catch which is why we decided a live trap would work better.

Ha ha and here I thought I was the only one who names the mice in my house. I dont have any now, but I had one really stubborn and smart female that I named. Finally what got her was one of the mouse hotel traps. The one where you put peanutbutter on the inside, and when the mouse goes in it closes. Good luck!

My ghetto-ass mousetrap
I changed it around this morning and lightened the counterweights so Mighty Mouse will have no choice but to drop in.

Cocky bastard lol. The one I had would run out during broad daylight, and stand in the middle of my livingroom floor and stare at me. My dog never even noticed the damn thing   She chases everything else, spiders, flys, ect, but the mouse could've walked right up to her, and she wouldve just layed there. You could always borrow someones cat lol.
