Linus?

posted 21st Nov
We were talking about the peanuts christmas special. My husband mentioned how Linus was he favorite because he's a smart insightful and thoughtful kinda kid. Now Linus is officially on our list. IDK how I feel about it. Part of me adores it and part of me is a little turned off by it. That's to be expected since I really don't like many boys names and some of my favorites have been shot down.

Now, If you think "eww it's an old man's name!" Yeah, I get that. I like old man names. I have no idea what we'd pair with it. Maybe Archer? IDK I'm trying to fall in love with it.

I love it, but mostly cos of the Charlie Brown reference.
I'm not sure what my thoughts would be with the name just on it's own, but i can't disconnect from that reference anyways, sooo, i like it

yeah... I have no idea what would go with it. I'm kinda digging Linus Archer with our last name.

I still think it's a girl.... LOL I'm happy Coraline is back on the table.

yeah. Like I said, part of me just wants to call it good and settle on Linus. The other part of me isn't loving it. I think it's because I'm pretty sure it's a girl.

It's a little "old fashioned". I like it, aside from charlie brown, but most kids aren't going to really know about Charlie brown in the next generation.

I was raised by my grandparents. Names like Doris, Phyllis, Dorothy were all my first friends. they taught me how to play cards and drink coffee like a lady.

I don't mind old fashioned. I'd rather it be old and classic than stuck in the 70's like my name. I don't really dig modern names like Brooklyn, Kaylee, Brayden eh. I want something strong and timeless.
