Our son is starting to get one also  God im so scared that my boyfirend and me wont get to have more kids in the future and for my son  I just dont know what to do. There both in alot of pain. They told him he couldn't have children from an inguinal hernia in one testicle? Hernias don't generally cause infertility...because a. men constantly produce sperm, they're not like women who are born with a limited number of eggs and b. if it's only on one side, well...he has another testicle...

Many, many men have one testicle. And like she said, they constantly produce sperm, I dont see the hernia making him sterile.

Well what happen the dumb doctor wait 9 months after he was born and his organs slowly moved down there and it was massing the balls . So when they cut it out they took out his actually testicles and they werent going to put they back in because they said he would end up not having very good sperm because half of one is dead from the massing. And plus that was on the left and now this one is on the right.

If a testicle was dead, they would have removed it, regardless of the age. This all seems a little whacky.

What do you mean by "massing"? And you keep switching, saying it was on one side and then on both...I doubt they took out both his testicles. Men need those for hormone production as well as sperm...

And if they took both testicles, he wouldn't be able to make babies, end of story.

My husband was born with three hernia's, two in his stomach and one in a testicle. He was also born with 4 polyps that they found from 3m-3yrs. All of which were surgically removed before his 3rd birthday. His doctor also told him he would never have children; he's now 23 and we have three little girls. Doctor's can be SERIOUSLY wrong when they say things. Between my husband and our youngest (10 week old) I've learned to trust my instincts rather than doctor's and ultrasounds because they can be wrong. I was 10 weeks pregnant and they "thought" they saw a hernia on her belly button but at 11 weeks said it was gone. Refused to give me any ultrasounds after 24 weeks and she's now 10 weeks old and we've been fighting that "thought to be" hernia since she was born; so far no surgery! Good luck hun, I'm sure everything will be fine.

They put them back in. His mother wouldnt allow that. And the story of him as child is from his mother not me. Thats just how she told me. But it was on his left the first one was. I dont really understand what happen. All i know that they told me that he was suposse to have childern and his left one was half dead. Its happening to my son as well. And im not letting the doctor wait intill 9 months though.
