Swelling in legs?

My ankles, feet, and legs swollen, why and what to do. Just gave birth Saturday.

lay down, elevate legs, try and stay like that for a bit. if it continues I would get checked out lovey <3. But def try and rest for a bit with your feet up on some pillows

Were you given pitocin? One of the side affects is swelling. I was quite swollen after I gave birth.

I had no swelling during pregnancy. After giving birth, though, I was HORRIBLY swollen. Like, for two weeks. It was insane.

I had never heard of this before! Had heard of swelling during pregnancy, but after??


I was given IV fluids for dehydration the day before I had baby, and I think that may have contributed to my swelling.

Just try to keep your feet elevated (tough, I know!), drink lots of water, relax. They will go down eventually.

Yes I was given that. Dang I never ever want to have another little one, I do not think moms should have so many complications
