Scared to believe the gender???

I have two girls and Dh and I were praying for a boy and found out today it is a boy! Doctor didn't get pics cause baby was bouncing and rolling even the dr was shocked at how active he was! But we saw a great shot of the goods! Dr is positive its a boy but still it's hard to believe.

Is it crazy that I am scared to believe it? Is it more common for boys to be mistaken as girls or girls mistaken as boys?

More common for boys to be mistaken for girls. DH is living proof of that  

No its more likely that boys are mistaken as girls than , girls mistaken as boys from what I hear. Pretty sure if you saw the goods its a boy , I wouldnt worry.

Thank you ladies! Dh is the only boy out of 5 and I only have 1 brother so we were sure we would be a girl ruled family lol!

My BFF is in town and went and bought onesies since she was at the ultrasound with us

I didn't get to see an Ultra sound picture but the results were sent to my Doctor for her to tell us the results, I was convinced I was having another girl but to my surprise my Doctor told us it's a Boy! I was over the moon but then doubt set in....I went for another Ultra sound at UC Baby and paid $50 to see the baby's gender for myself...I didn't believe it until I saw with my own eyes.

Aww Congrats!!!     Same thing happened to me... my 3rd was a boy after two daughters... I was nervous about the gender till he was born...lol... plus you are 20+ weeks right?

you and me both...I've always wanted a girl and now that they said this little one is a girl I'm skeptical...I'm so scared that she'll come out a he and I kinda won't let myself be 100% happy about it...but winkies are easier to spot!!

Thank you ladies! I am 22 weeks tomorrow because my due date got moved up into march! My old dr was calculating wrong and my ultrasound showed I was way ahead of 20 weeks(what I was today and the u/s showed 23 wks 3 days) so dr just said we will go off my LMP since I am positive of the starts and end date.

i dnt see how boys can be mistaken as girls lol there is a thingy there my daughter was mistaken a boy becouse of the cord betweeen her legs but then they said its a girl well good luck i hope u have a boy

lol I was scared to death of this too! We have 2 girls already and I found out at 15 weeks that we were finally getting a little boy! I had my anatomy ultrasound a couple days ago (21 weeks) and confirmed it IS a boy!   I think with today's technology it is hard to be wrong but then again, anything is possible lol

I totally know how you feel. After 4 boys I never expected the tech to say "its a girl" I thought I was gonna pass out! I have had a total of 2 ultrasounds past 20 weeks and it's plain as day its a girl. Im 28 weeks and just now feeling comfortable enough to buy pink. Lol Congrats and Good luck! Boys are sooo much fun.

I am as well scared, I have two girls already, and my third is another girl doctor comfirmed he was positive it was a girl but people keep tellin me by the way my belly is shape they think that there is a posibility it still can b a boy, I let them know doc check 3 times and said yup a girl but still have my doubts cuz people jus like to talk! >:/

I have two girls already and pregnant with my third. I found out at my 16 week ultrasound that it was a boy! I refused to believe it because we did not get a good picture of the goods. DH was sure of what he saw as was the tech, but I was still apprehensive to believe it. I had another ultrasound at 20 weeks and he was very proud to show himself this time. We are having a boy for sure! I am so scared and excited at the same time!
