Gah... I feel like it's the same stuff everyone does... hats, headbands, amigurumi, skirts (whatever really). It's just nice to have a hobby and if I can make something doing it even better

Oh, you definitely can. It's the perfect time of year to start up.

Oh... I know, especially for Christmas! I made snowmen and Santa ornaments for the family last year, but I never took pictures ( I should kick myself for that)... I never really thought about selling what I made until recently. We are struggling right now so it seems like there would be no better time to start.

Good luck! My advice is to link up with other FB pages during giveaways and such. It will gain your page a ton of fans and more fans means a greater possibility of orders.

I just started a few weeks ago, I've already made 5 hats. 2 newborn hats for Silas, and 2 hats for me [I love my hats.] and I made my little sister a hat. I have a picture of my first hat, and the hat I made for my sister:

I messed up on my sisters hat really bad, my slip stitches didn't connect the rows correctly like it was supposed too, so I made a design out of it and crocheted a rose and stuck it on there, and ran a black thread through the big holes that the slip stitches made.   I'm learning though, definitely getting better! It's a process haha.

I'm also currently in the process of learning to knit. and crocheting a scarf at the same time. Not sure if I like the feel of the scarf though so far.. It feels too stiff? I think I'm doing it wrong, I might take it apart and knit it, I love knit scarves.

Welcome! Those hats are super cute. It's definitely a learning process. I refuse to learn how to knit.   I feel like it'd be cheating on my crocheting.

YES! I was thinking the same. Also, maybe sites for free patterns. I have to go pick up DS from school soon but I'll definitely start gathering up some links when I get back.
