...and some cheap yarn. I practiced my stitches over and over and once I became comfortable, I moved onto patterns and such.

This book taught me everything I needed to get started ...


I just went to Pat Catan's (local craft store) and bought a starter hook set and some cheap yarn to practice with.

I get very cranky when my projects go awry. VERY cranky. DH knows to steer clear when that's going on.

Yes... that is what convinced me to buy it, but the book is really helpful and has a bunch of patterns in it
