Labor?

Okay mommies. Had a dr apt and they checked for dilation. Only 2 cms. They did the group b strep test. For the past 3ish hours I have been having regular contractions 5-10 minutes apart that are hard and coming more consistently, loose stools,sharp pains in my Vajj when the contractions hit and lots of vomiting. Anyone else experience this?

I'd be calling L&D. I haven't had that but it would worry me a bit.

Sounds like labor. Call your ob.

It sounds like the early stages of labor. Call and let your ob know, but chances are the wont have you come in unless contractions are under 5 minutes for more than an hour or two.

I am soaking in a nice hot bath praying they ease up. If not I'll be calling. I just don't know if I'm focusing on them too much which is making them hurt more or if it's the real deal.

Well the bath helped but now they are back. So I'm gonna see how hard they come back and go from there. Thanks ladies!

Well contractions are still only 7 minutes apart so I haven't gone in. I did have the huge burst of energy. Cleaned the entire nursery. I don't know what is going on. I'm frustrated because all the signs are there...and nothing. Which is ironic because they've stopped labor 3 times.
