I would say any age is too old, once you choose a name for your baby its weird to just change it, she said she loves the name, so why bother?

She also loves other names more if she's considering changing it.

Who doesnt love other names when they have a baby though, I do but I still stick to one and keep it. Just my opinion though. Each to their own.

i really dont think its practical to change her name since shes already here she already knows her name u dont want her confused now and hailey is way better that the other names u like it will age well ur being silly and if ur kid ever finds out and she will she probly wont like that u changed her name after she was born u should have changed it before she was born i could imagine changeing a bbays name after its born i had this name picked out since before i knew i was pregnant

DO IT!

If you don't you will regret it, I know, I went through the same thing, didn't change his name and now I regret not doing it, but he is almost 4 years old, so it's too late.

At 5 months, she isn't going to know the difference. Also - your other choices blow Hailey out of the water.

How in the world is Hailey better than Charlotte, Penelope and Alice???

Haily is all little girl and the other's are very sweet but will mature better.

I have a Hailee Nicole. Yes it's cute for a little girls name but we also thought when she's older she can go by either Lee or Nicole!

I used to have the same thoughts as you & even recently I thought about name change. I originally wanted to call her Isabella Joan. My nan died about 12 months ago & I now really regret not naming her after her (her name was Joan). But my DD is now 4.

I think you should have thought about your "aging well" dilemma before you wrote a name on the birth certificate. You had 9 months to think about the name and how permanent it is. I think you shouldn't change it. Live with your decision. Hailey is pretty IMO. And if HAILEY wants to change her name when she's an aduly.. then HAILEY can change it.

She said she decided on it because that's the only think her and her SO could agree on. It's HER child, she should love the name and if she wants to change it she should be able to.

I like Harlow! And I love love Charlotte. I love that it has Lottie as a nickname and then Charlotte for when she's older and wants to be professional.

Thank you. I just have to get SO fully on board. The process of changing it is pretty easy and really cheap so that's not in the way!
I think I'd still keep Hailey in her name and she'd have 2 middle names.
