Dang it! Dang it! Dang it!

So I have had cold since Friday. I woke up today feeling worse and made an apt just incase because of the holiday.

I have strep! Freakin strep! On top of some sinus issues. Ugh all I want is to be able to taste my food!

Blahh I had it a couple weeks ago. I hate strep   can't swallow anythingggg

Strep is the worst! But antibiotics will clear it up in a day or two.

This is Exactly why I went. But still this is such a bummer!

Agreed! Last time I had strep, I couldn't even get out of bed.

I have not gotten there yet. I've had it a few times so I knew to catch if early

I was so prone to getting strep as a teenager. When I was 16, I got it like 3 times in less than a year.

The first time I ever had it, the doctor gave me a shot, the pain went away in about an hour. (Plus the usual antibiotic prescription)

The second time (Different doctor), I BEGGED for the shot of penicillin. The doctor refused to give me one, instead she wrote me out a script for antibiotics, Pain Killers, and lidocain (sp?).

The third time might not have been strep. On my way to the docs for a walk in appointment, I took a drink out of some scorching hot coffee, my mom hit a bump I got a mouthful, it scorched the smurf out of my throat, but my throat felt a lot better. <---- That was the last time I had it. (If that time it was strep)

Hahaha probabably better way of killing germs and pain than antibiotics lol

I was numb for a little bit, (Or just that damaged) but when the numbness wore off within maybe 10 minutes, the pain was completely gone, so I told my mom we can turn around. I never did go see a doctor that time, and I haven't had strep throat since. I really wouldn't recommend that for anyone though. I'd rather take a shot of thick penicillin to the rear, then deal with the pain of scorching my throat again.

Haha, I can only imagine how awful that felt
