I had some bright red bleeding ay about 5 weeks. We have no idea why. So fat everything is going smoothly. I hope the same for you!

I had spotting at around 5 weeks and then heavy bright red bleeding at 12 weeks and nothing was wrong thankfully. Stay positive  

If you are not cramping or bleeding at all now and are still having pregnancy symptoms the you really shouldn't worry.

Did you by any chance have sex before this spotting started?

Did you have sex last night? If so, there's nothing to worry about.

If not, and you're not currently bleeding (or cramping tho cramping in early pg is totally normal) I wouldn't worry.

If you ARE cramping AND bleeding then that MAY be the start of a m/c but it does NOT guarantee it

No.

Spotting does not always mean miscarriage. If it starts again and picks up then go to the ER and get checked out but if it stopped you might be a-ok.

When you had your blood drawn did you have a full appointment as well with a pelvic exam or was it just blood work?

I had spotting in the first trimester with both pregnancies.

I had spotting for a couple of hours within 24 hours of getting light positives.

With my first I also had some bleeding and spotting at 8 and 12 weeks. It was pretty scary.

With my second, I had spotting every time I wiped for 12 days starting at about 5 weeks, maybe 5.5 weeks.

It was just blood work. I won't see my actual doctor until the 3rd.
