black friday

saw this on FB, and i couldnt agree more. i think black friday in itself is a great idea.. the way people act over a material object sometimes is so absurbed . I just dont understand the point of fighting for something, or trampling over someone to save a few bucks.. its just not worth it to me

I totally agree!!! I have never gone and I never will.

I go black friday shopping, but not for the "doorbusters." I love the business of the mall/stores, and all the Christmas hustle and bustle. Plus I can never pass up a good opportunity to go out for lunch!!

Now that its creeped into Thanksgiving, it pisses me off. People are supposed to be with family. Not fending for your life while people stampede to get crap.

I'm kind of excited about it starting earlier because I hate going to my in-laws.

I definitely would rather pay full price than have to stand in line, fight with people, get trampled, etc.

If people are SO concerned with getting a good deal that they'll wait in line overnight, elbow someone for a TV, etc---maybe they don't need to be shopping for anything.

ive only gone once in my life.. it was terrible. i think thats why i decide to stay home that day

The first time I went, I was pregnant with DD and this lady thought I was breaking in line, but the lines were all over the place so we were just trying to get through. She basically threw her buggy right in front of me so I couldn't go anywhere and was like 'I hope you don't expect any special treatment...if it's too much for you to wait like the rest of us then you should have left your fat pregnant ass at home!' She yelled that, really loud and people were staring...I was so hormonal so I just walked away crying.
