40 weeks and only one centameter whats does this mean i dont

hi my name is ariel and i am 19 years old and pregnant with my first chld im having a boy. i am 40 weeks and only one centameter dialated whaqt does this mean and how do i kick start my labour im scaird that i might have to get a c cection but i really dont want one any advise helps right now im stressing out... 

You can't do much to kick start labor. They always say walking helps, but I walked, and walked, and walked and it didn't help anything. It just made the contractions stronger after I was ALREADY in labor. However, you're in the end zone. 2 week left, worst case scenario. You will go into labor when your body decides, and there's not much you can do to change that. Relax, and concentrate on reading parenting or labor books or something.

thats what sucks there is no sine that hes coming soon it just feels like im going to be pregnent for a long time   theres some pain every now and again but nothing that feels like a contraction but hes hard all the time

I had my second at 41 weeks 1 day. Seems like forever, but hey, you're fortunate. I have a good 6 months ahead of me still!
