Help me help her?

Ok, I want to help out SO's ex-wife... Here's the situation.

After SO and her called it quits, she got with a man who abused her, but she loved him. They have broken bones on each other's bodies before. Well, about 2 weeks or more ago, she gave birth to their daughter.

She has NOTHING. No income, no education past high school, no working car right now, NOTHING. She was going to save up a little here and there from HIS account, and take the baby and run. But, now, she can't, because HE is leaving her at the end of the week.

Keep in mind, I do NOT like her, or the things she has done, and I think her and her soon to be ex are immature as smurf. BUT, she is also a victim of DV, and her little baby deserves better.

She needs to file for child support, and she needs to get out of there. I figure, it'd be best for her if she A- Filed for child support and MADE SURE to file for full custody of the minor, and B- Gets an order of protection against his ass to keep him away from her.

I want to know if anyone has a list of any and all women's shelters in VA. I've been looking for info on the child support and the Order of protection, and I haven't had time to find that yet. I want to help this woman out of this bad situation... And is there anything else she should do? I may be forgetting to think of some of this stuff.
