  The possibility that something other then a toy worries me, and so does the pelvic.

It will be hard for you, but try to stay strong for her. Gentle reassuring words and talk to her so she can have a distraction. It's going to be okay. *big hugs*

As someone who was molested at a young age, I can tell you that she will remember bits and pieces of the examination as she gets older. I was three years old and I still remember. The examination is scary but it doesn't "haunt" you the rest of your life. The actual molestation, however, is a whole other story :/

Just stay strong for her and she will make it through.
