so had my 39 week doc appt got cervix checked and......

went to the doctors were dialated between 1&2 75% effaced and at a -1 so things are happening she said and she also felt her head

Yay! I got mine checked today too & was so excited to know I was making progress. I bet you're relieved, I know I was lol.

I know that was great news to hear.   I'm hoping I hear good news for my next appt. I'll be 38w 3d and it would be awesome to hear of any kind of progress.

i was really glad to hear i made progress i thought i might have the way baby is so low and the pressure etc and i m glad it didnt hurt i read it hurts some and not others but haveing some ones fingers in u and the pressure of them pushin on ur vag is weired

when do they start checking ? im 35 weeks and my dr never goes down there , he just measures my belly listens to the heart beat and im out ...

its different for lots of people im 39 weeks and it was my first time getting checked i have read some people being checked a few weeks earlyer tho but ask ur doc next time u go ,some dont check til ur over due

Depends on the doctor. Here they don't check til you're 37 weeks

I'm 38 weeks and I'm 2cm & 60% effaced. I got to the doctor tomorrow to see if more progress was made.

I'm 39wks 2-3cm and 100% effaced

I started getting checked at 36 weeks, now I'm 37w5d I got checked today and I've barely made any progress I'm still at .5 cm I've been having contractions since Friday and have other signs of labor :/
