Dang it..

I'm not sure what to do.. this morning I had some bleeding and was put on pelvic rest for 2 days. I have continued to bleed and am having some cramping, but it hasn't gotten worse.

Dh is working out of town and is flying in this evening....at friggin rush hour. I have to go pick him up at dfw airport, but I dont want to aggrivate whatever is going on.

I don't have anyone else who can go pick him up, and he can't take a cab because its too far from our house to the airport. I am not looking forward to this!!  

Do you think if I drove it would be ok?

Can he get a cab to some place that's a little closer, so you don't have to drive as far and deal with the hectic traffic?

I was put on pelvic rest my last pregnancy for bleeding. As long as you dont mean bed rest then you should be okay to drive out there. I'm sure it's gona be a pain in the ass with traffic and such though. But I would think that physically it wouldnt do any harm to anything but your patience. I feel your pain....I HATE to drive.

Unfortunately the traffic is going to be super congested no matter where he could take the cab. We live just south of Fort Worth on the interstate.

Your pelvic will still be "resting" while you sit in the car. You aren't on bed rest.

As long as your not on bed rest you should be fine to drive.

If its not bedrest you should be able to drive. It will be stressful I understand but sometimes you have to do what you have to do

You should be fine, but can you call a super shuttle maybe if you dont want to do it? Usually they charge 40 bucks or so and take you to your door?

Dude, we have a standard vehicle. It's not that easy to drive in traffic.

Pelvic rest means no sex. It's not bed rest

pelvic rest = no sex and no masturbation or anything in your vagina

I think you'll be okay. If you dont, pull every card in the book to get someone to do you a favor. You'd have to bribe the hell outta me to get me to drive in dallas traffic, let alone dallas HOLIDAY traffic, eff that lol

I think it'll be ok. I was on very, very strict bed rest with DS. The doctor let me go home from the hospital, and said I would be ok to ride in the car to my doctor's appointments twice a week. But that was it. Sorry you have to stress about this
